The company was established in 1987 by Tim O’Neill. The company started out doing mostly decks but shortly after getting started O’Neill realized that porches were a much better value for the money . So much more outdoor time regardless of rain , bugs or heat . The roof over head gives you shade and protection from the elements and the fan moves the air enough to be comfortable in the hottest months of the year . The screens allow you to enjoy the cooler evening air without being eaten by the mosquitoes! Over all much more outdoor time ! We build porches and we build them to last and they look good !
I always worked with my hands and loved art as well. I was teaching school when I called a deck company to build decks for a summer job . I was immediately put into sales and I realized the potential that I had to earn. I really enjoyed meeting the clients and designing and selling and a year later I started my own business in 1987 .
