A New York native and a 20 year veteran of the design industry, Carmela has designed residential and commercial projects across the East Coast and the Caribbean. After graduating with a BFA in Interior Design, and spending 2 more years preparing for the exams, Carmela went on to acquire the coveted NCIDQ certification (National Council for Interior Design Qualification). Having worked in hospitality design for one of the top 100 Giants of Design while in Philadelphia and as Project Manager for an award-winning Multi-Family commercial design firm in DC, she now specializes in residential and light commercial design with a focus on the kitchen and bath.
