Mark Coupard, AIA, is a licensed Architect who founded in January 2003, after 12 years as the Senior Architect at Hemphill & Coupard Architects/Builders. Mark has spent more than two decades designing and building residential projects in the Washington, D.C. area. Several of his projects have won design awards and many have been published locally and nationally. He received his architectural education from the University of Maryland, Catholic University and obtained practical construction experience by working on numerous building sites. Mark is deeply involved in the design and management of every project we undertake. He is ably assisted by Charles McSorley, Associate AIA, who contributes creativity and passion to each of our projects which are built by an incredible team of talented craftsmen.
