Atlantic Constructors offers competitive benefits, for more information check out our on our website.Summary/Objective:Responsible for utilizing Revit, Computer Aided Design (CAD) and various software to model, coordinate and prepare detailed drawings for plumbing drainage, supply, and air, and gases systems.Essential Functions:
Generates plumbing models using the designated project specifications, design drawings and models, control diagrams, submittals, RFI’s, and modeling software
Incorporates and manages current updates to drawings, models, specifications, RFI’s, change orders, and submittals as the project progresses
Develops full sets of construction “shop” drawings and “field” drawings
Completes drawing/modeling including: model preparation, modeling, piece numbering, annotating, dimensioning, and spooling
Manages time and multiple projects in a fast pace deadline environment
Generates and communicates information for RFI’s specific to the projects and trade systems
Generates and manages spools, drawings for prefabrication, site installation/map drawings, and documentation
Performs other duties as assigned
Supervisory Responsibility: NoRequired:
3+ years of related experience and/or training using at least one of Autodesk 2018 or greater products; or equivalent combination of education and experience (preferably in a construction environment)
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, & Outlook)
Be able to take direction and work independently, while working in a strong team environment
Must be able to multi-task, work with minimal supervision, follow written and oral instructions, show attention to detail and demonstrate problem-solving skills
Must be able to pass post-offer pre-employment drug screen, and may be required to satisfactorily complete additional background checks as required (i.e. DMV, criminal history)
Must adhere to all company policy and procedures
Must be available to work assigned schedules
The work environment and physical demands required would be representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job, and may include, but are not limited to the following:Work Environment:
Works in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment
Position may require visits to construction site
Physical Demands:
This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopier, filing cabinets and fax machines
Travel:
May require infrequent travel (typically not overnight)
Preferred:
Prior military experience
HS diploma or GED equivalent
