If you would like to join an industry-leading MEP engineering consulting firm, complete an application, and submit a cover letter and resume in confidence.About the RoleGHT is seeking a bright and motivated Plumbing Design Engineer with 5 -10 years of experience in plumbing design.Candidate must possess the following skills, traits, and credentials:
- Demonstrate proficiency in plumbing design for the built environment including: design of domestic water and sanitary waste systems; natural gas systems, grease waste systems, fire suppression systems, load calculations, equipment sizing and selection.
- Possess a working knowledge of building and energy codes.
- Reflect a commitment to client satisfaction and responsiveness as well as be motivated to excel, able to work both independently and in a team setting.
- Capable of organizing personal work flow.
- Possess good verbal and written communication skills.
- Be proficient with AutoCAD (familiarity with Revit modeling is desirable)
- Preferred but not required: LEED accreditation
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship. GHT participates in E-Verify.
- Successfully complete pre-employment background check and drug test. Certain projects may have additional requirements.
- Able to travel to job sites and conduct site visits, including carrying equipment/materials; climbing, sitting, standing, walking, balancing.
